The most affordable accommodation in well-known places like Palawan is very budget-friendly for groups or student travel

What I like about the property is waking up in green scenery. Being in nature and waking up like you are in the middle of the jungle

What I didn't like it when the room had lots of ants, and for a person who has an allergy to ants is terrifying.

Lovely guesthouse

Lovely area, nice staff, walking distance from sabang, restaurant nearby

Good for a one night stay with very basic amenities. Good jungle environment though

In the jungle surrounded by nature

A good 15min walk from the beach and restaurants. No proper signage from the main road. Very basic accommodation and bathroom deft needs updating. No breakfast or dinner menu provided. Fan at the side of the bed very uncomfortable. Room very poorly lit and towels were horrible, bring your own towels. No hot water and no internet. Good for a night in Sabang

Good location and lovely staff. Slow internet and noisy animals.

Bambua is a well located accommodation with lovely family/staff to help you during your stay in Sabang. They help you booking your tour to the Subterranean River (1300pesos/pax), taxi from the airport (3500pesos) and transport to other towns like El Nido. Bambua is a very simple place, but it's among nature and well located, only 15min walk from the beach and deck (to take the boat for the subterranean river). They serve breakfast (250pesos/pax), dinner (375pesos/pax) and sell beers and bottles of water.

The negative aspects to consider if you decide to stay in Bambua: the internet only works close to the kitchen and they have lovely animals but they can be quiet noisy over night (rooster and cats).

Good place in Sabang

Very quiet place in good location near to the beach. Owners are very welcoming.

Ants in a room and lack of wifi (owners said that they are going to buy some equipment to have wifi).

Exceptional

Bambua is really in the middle of nature and the loveliest place to stay in Sabang. Andreas and his family took good care of us and helped us with our activities - the underground river tour, a jungle trek and transportation to Sabang. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the house. We can only recommend Bambua! Please note that since the house is in the nature, you will hear different animals during the night, so make sure to bring ear plugs ;)

Loved the nature cottage and being surrounded by nature

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cottage is lovely located in pure nature. It is quiet and you wake up by beautiful bird sounds. You are away from people, no TV or Wifi but you do not need it.! And you get real Coffee in rhe morning :-)

Superb

Andre and his family are very kind and helpfull. They organize the underground river tour for less money than the agencies and you'll have to wait less time than the others. They also organized our transport to El Nido and a trip to the jungle. The bungalow we had was super cute and we really enjoyed it. It can get a little loud in the evening with geckos and other animals making whatever business they attend to in the middle of the night. The food was very good, but is a little expensive if you eat there often (at least compared to other options in Sabang). We really can reccomend Andre's place and wish him and his family all the best.

Fantastic place in gorgeous setting in nature

Everything about this place was great. We ended up booking the apartment as whilst our Internet went in and out the double room got booked. It was obviously a bit more expensive but was so worth it. So many fantastic features. So much space. So well decorated. Was just great. One of our favourite places to stay in the Philippines. The view from the balcony was amazing. Loved it. Didn't want to leave

That we had to leave. We only had time to stay for one night and could definitely have done more.

Short stay with pleasant jungle views

Andre the owner and his son Marvin were welcoming and helped us with organizing transportation and booking the Underground River Tour. We had Breakfast and Dinner and engaged in pleasant conversations (Andre speaks German too) which made the stay more personal. I enjoyed the view to the jungle and the tranquility.

The following is not something I personally disliked but that should be noted: there is no wifi, yes it‘s a 10 min walk outside of Sabang and currently there is no sign at the entrance. You leave the main road to a smaller road and then you will see a small bridge and a small hut where you can park scooters. Follow that way and you get to the cottage.

Marvin and Andre were unbelievably helpful - they organised for us to go on a trek in the jungle and for transport to and from Sabang by public van. Marvin is an excellent cook and would highly recommend eating dinner with them!

A true hidden garden of Eden

What an incredible gem to find, an instantaneous coup de foudre! The property is surrounded by incredible mountains and lush vegetation. The host make you feel at home instantly. He will happily help you discover the hidden gems and tailor adventures around Sabang. Time will fly without you noticing, 1 day is definitely not enough!

Very good

The host was very nice and welcoming. They served food and all you needed at the place. The surroundings was amazing. Real Jungle feeling.

The transfer to sabang and from sabang took very long and was very unpleasant. (5hours from Puerto and 5 hours to el nido)
